Official Rules Checklist for Sweepstakes

Official rules are the source of truth. Directory snippets are helpful for discovery, but rules tell you who can enter, how often, what the prize is, and how winners are selected.

Safety note: TopSweeps links to directories, communities, and sponsor pages for research. We do not guarantee availability or odds. Never pay a fee, send gift cards, or provide banking credentials to claim a prize.

Read these before entering

  1. Sponsor and administrator names.
  2. Eligibility by age, country, state, province, and household.
  3. Start date, end date, and time zone.
  4. Entry limits by person, email, address, device, or household.
  5. No-purchase-necessary and alternate method of entry details.
  6. Prize description, approximate retail value, restrictions, and substitution terms.
  7. Winner selection date, notification method, response deadline, and tax-form requirements.
  8. Odds language and total number of prizes.

When to skip a listing

Skip entries where the rules are missing, the sponsor cannot be identified, the prize claim asks for upfront payment, or eligibility is unclear. Also be careful with promotions that require broad permissions, app installs, subscriptions, or social actions you do not want to maintain.
